The Kimber Montana is the ultimate in lightweight superbly accurate rifles. At 5lbs 2oz it is the lightest production rifle in the world bar none. Lighter than a Remington 700 Ti, lighter than a Tikka or Sako, lighter than even a Christensen Arms with carbon fiber stock and barrel.

But Kimber take no shortcuts. There is no plastic anywhere on this firearm. Unlike other "lite" rifles the Montana uses the art of engineering design to acheive perfect weight and balance rather than just to use cheap and light materials. The action is designed specifically around the .308 cartridge. The stock is a Kevlar/ Carbon fibre blend and all metal work is Stainless. Full aluminuim pillar bedding keeps the action rigid in the stock and maintains Kimbers superb accuracy. Riflecraft can even suppress this rifle and still have it weigh only 5lbs 10oz. Of course the threading work for the suppressor is included in the price of the rifle.
