Konus 7-17x30 Zoom Monocular

Italian optics manufacturer Konus are known for their practical, well-made riflescopes, but they also offer a large selection of binoculars and other shooting accessories, including a range of compact monoculars. The Konusmall-2 is the mid-range variant, it has a rubber-coated body, offers 7-17x variable magnification and uses a 30mm objective. It is a telescopic design, extending as the magnification is increased. It comes in a nylon carry case with a hand lanyard and measures between 128- 165mm in length, while weighing 156 grams. The magnification is controlled via a zoom ring positioned in front of the fast-focus eye piece, while the main focus is positioned towards the front. It also features a dual focusing system that offers both fast and fine options. All the controls have slotted surfaces, to make them easier to manipulate. The lenses are multi-coated and the unit is nitrogenpurged, fog and shockproof.

Performance is good, with a field of view at 1000m of 80.5m on 7x mag and 45.5m at maximum magnification. It also features a flip-up eyecup and includes a tripod attachment point, making it a versatile piece of equipment.
