Huggett Snipe Moderator

Huggett has been synonymous with airgun silencers for some years now, and its early association with the likes of Daystate, and involvement in specialist projects, holds the name in high regard among enthusiasts and aficionados globally.

High-grade aluminium forms the basis of the 1.2” diameter body tube, and with gauze stainless material, and wadding, all held within a stainless-steel mesh cage, the internals are fairly high tech too. A series of baffles help to interrupt and dissipate the airflow, and the end result is a highly effective silencer/moderator, designed not only to eat the decibels, but to last.

The Snipe is the latest name for the company’s original ‘standard’ model, and still sports those highly distinctive twists and swirls through the body, and short mesh vents at the rear. The .177 and .22 utilise the same size bore, but other calibres are specific. The exterior is anodised, practical, and very classy, and with a choice of black, blue, green, and red, along with a choice of finer detail – swirl, silver swirl, or vertical definition – individual taste can be indulged.

Cheaper alternatives are available, but these British-made silencers are of the highest quality.
