Reximex Silent Force Sound Moderators

Turkish brand, Reximex, is rapidly making a name for itself with its large range of PCP airguns, and whilst undoubtedly there’s some imitation going on amongst the innovation, their array of highly appealing, eye-catching configurations, has caught the attention of many an enthusiast. It’s fair to say then, that this energized operation has gained ground fast.

New to the product line-up comes the Reximex Silent Force sound moderators, and these are a welcome addition, to set off and enhance any gun with a 1/2” UNF standard specification thread at the muzzle. Constructed from high-grade aluminium, and treated to a super-sleek and durable matte black finish, the design is intended to be compact. A tube diameter of 1.1” keeps dimensions sensible, and with two lengths available, there’s a choice too. The short version comes in at 5”, and at just 3oz, is a real featherweight. Even the long version at 6.75”, only tips the scales at 4oz, so neither will unbalance a rifle combination, which is a real advantage.

Inside, there are 2x baffles mid-tube, in the short version, and 3x mid-tube baffles in the long version. These are effectively restrictions through which the spent air passes. Each small expansion chamber helps dissipate the overall muzzle report, and on test, both units did a competent job of muffling any crack. In short (or long), these moderators are neat, well-made, super compact, and effective.
